Two brothers stab each other in hotel room
Two brothers stabbed each other in a California hotel room, according to news media reports. A domestic dispute turned violent when the brothers stabbed each other
in a hotel room in San Francisco on Tuesday afternoon, according to a
police officer. Police responded to a call reporting an
argument in the 1000 block of Market Street at 5:45 pm that led to two
men who needed medical attention for stab wounds, Albie Esparza said. A
man, aged 62, came to the hotel room where the other man, 53, was
staying with his girlfriend, Esparza said. The man who appeared in the
hotel wanted to give something to his brother, the official said. The 53-year-old was sitting on the bed with his girlfriend when his
older brother, pulled a knife and stabbed him in the chest, Esparza
said. There was a struggle and the younger brother stabbed his older
brother, also in the chest, the police officer said. Esparza
said it is unknown whether the same knife was used to commit the both
stabbings. The older brother ran out of the room and went to the
bathroom in the hallway and was taken into custody, the police officer
said. The two men were taken to a hospital for treatment for injuries not considered life threatening, Esparza said.
