Anybody who has heard Omawumi's new album, The Lasso of Truth, will concur that it is indeed a masterful work of art featuring collaborations with top rated acts like 2face Idibia, Timaya and Wizkid.
While many may not know the true reason and type of deal that was signed, we can reveal to you that it was all as a result of Omawumi's wonderful cooking prowess.
According to very reliable houses, Omawumi is so good in the kitchen that a lot of celebrities living in the Lekki area of Lagos have turned her house to their “second” kitchen.
Anyway, we discovered that Wizkid and Timaya were willing to work with Omawumi only on one condition: that she would cook banga soup for them.
